Tonight I received FSD Beta v11.4.1 and so I wanted to create a new blog post for all of my v11.4 videos that I’ll be posting over the next few weeks. Enjoy!
This video contains footage recorded on the evening of May 13th, 2023 of FSD Beta 11.4.1 taking my unprotected left (UPL) turn torture test onto Chowen Ave S from highway MN-13 S. I previously attempted this test w/ FSD Beta 11.3.6 (see link below). Unlike with v11.3, v11.4.1 exhibited none of the lane selection issues that we previously witnessed towards the end of each attempt.
This video contains footage recorded on the afternoon of May 12th, 2023 of FSD Beta 11.4.1 taking me from downtown Minneapolis all the way to the Fedex Store in Roseville, MN without any disengagements. The weather was rainy for a majority of the drive with it getting heavier as the drive continued. I
This video contains footage recorded on the afternoon of May 12th, 2023 of FSD Beta 11.4.1 driving me from my gym in St. Paul to my house in NE Minneapolis. Along the way we recognize a nice improvement related to speed limits on residential streets, a possible path planning regression, as well as a disengagement due to traffic light detection.
This video contains footage from my very first drive w/ FSD Beta 11.4.1 where it drove me from Highland Park (St. Paul) to my house (NE Minneapolis) without a single disengagement. Turns were extremely smooth with confidence being noticeable higher than what I saw w/ v11.3.6. Looking forward to doing more drives w/ v11.4.1 tomorrow!
